Jayden has the biggest heart I have ever seen. He gives up seeing friends and fun events to help take care of his grandfather, who is a retired firefighter and has been diagnosed with ALS. He can no longer move, walk or talk, and as hard as it is to watch, Jayden has been there every step of the way. He does this while being supportive to the rest of the family, helping me out at home and still maintaining his honor roll status at school. At one point I had been off of work for medical issues during all of this and was low on money, and he saved his money from his chores to treat me to a movie and then for us to go to the pumpkin patch. He is so kind, caring and loving and deserves all the recognition in the world for his selfless nature. I am very lucky to be his mom, and I could not be more proud to call him my son.
