Route Driver: Part-Time (Starting Pay $15.00/hr)
Position is responsible for pickup and delivery of product. The individual filling this position will generally work 30-35 hours per week. This position is part-time.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick-up and delivery of product as directed by the assigned route
- Document stops and product picked up/dropped off
- Load and unload vehicle in an organized and safe manner
- Communicate any issues/concerns with incoming and outgoing product
- Complete driver audit sheets
- General upkeep of vehicle
- Reporting of any and all problems related to the vehicle assigned
- Complete vehicle checks
- Lift 40+ pounds continuously
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred by not required)
- Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate
- Clean drug screen
- Clean Background
- Ability to read and follow maps
- Ability to utilize hand held routing device
- Ability to lift, bend, pull, push, twist continuously
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds
- Ability to use a manual pallet jack in a safe manner
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience driving box trucks
