The NWO Rib Off is an annual festival in NW Ohio where ribbers across the nation come to compete. From Friday through Sunday we have live performances by big names in the music industry as well as multiple vendors and activities.
Presented by Dunn Chevy in Oregon, the Rib Off will be held at the Lucas County Fairgrounds in Maumee. The weekend line-up includes:
Friday, July 26 – Flash back to the ’90s with Gin Blossoms and opening act Sponge.
Saturday, July 27 – Brett Young entertains with his many country hits. (An opening act will be announced at a later date.)
Sunday, July 28 – Family Day, with locally-known Van Halen tribute band Jump
General admission on Friday and Saturday, July 26-27, including the concert, is $20 in advance, and $25 at the gate. Limited Advanced Reserved Seating for the concert is $59.50 for Friday and $65 for Saturday.
Friday and Saturday night sponsor tickets (includes front row and bleacher seating, BBQ meal, private restrooms, and VIP cash bar) are $1,300 for a table of 10 or $150 for an individual.
Admission is free from noon-2 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Family Day, Sunday, July 28, is sponsored by Durocher’s. Admission is only $10 per family and includes games, inflatables, face painting and more, plus the 5 p.m. performance by Jump.
Ten pitmasters from Toledo to Texas will serve up mouth-watering ribs at one of Toledo’s most popular summer events. A cornhole tournament with cash prizes is scheduled for noon on July 27. Teams can register at nworiboff.com.
